The university offered her master's degree in theatre and also double-majored in sociology and psychology. Contractor was offered the lead role in Pericles following a brief time in University. She was a part of the audition for the part at Stratford Shakespeare Festival (Ontario Canada) and was awarded. The year 2002 was a great one for her. Canadian theater critics were awed by her performance in 92 performances of the play. Contractor accepted the invitation to join Stratford's Conservatory. The Conservatory has only 8 men and four females are admitted for the 20-week course of classical theater. Contractor was guaranteed a spot in the following season of plays and landed the part in the role of Hermia In A Midsummer Night's Dream.
